Why this model sells
The wearable people do not take off
A ring wins on sleep and recovery for one unglamorous reason: people do not take it off. The customer who leaves a watch on the nightstand still wears the ring, so the ring keeps the only dataset that sells in this category — the overnight story. Build the listing around sleep stages, sleep score, recovery and HRV baseline, and the demo sells itself because the numbers appear every morning.
Sizing is the real commercial risk in the category, and it is a process, not a promise: we ship a size kit before your run so your retail team can finger-size customers, the 1,000 units are split to your market’s distribution curve, and unopened wrong sizes are exchangeable within the run. That clause is exactly what your retail team will be asked about on the first weekend — put it in your listing, because we will put it in the agreement.

Full test reports and Declarations of Conformity are available on request. Certificate scans are not published on this site: the report must match the hardware revision on your order, and our EU customers receive them under NDA as part of the quotation pack.
A ring is jewellery that touches skin 24 hours a day, so the pack is wider than a watch’s: on top of the standard CE RED, FCC, RoHS 3, REACH SVHC and UN38.3 scope, we book nickel-release testing to EN 1811 with an accredited lab for the exact shell and inner-surface finish of your build — plan it with us at quotation stage rather than assuming a certificate exists.

Questions buyers ask about this model
- Which sizes are stocked and how does exchanging work?
- Sizes 6 to 13 are stocked; half sizes are possible only with new tooling. Before your run we ship a size kit so you and your retail team can finger-size customers, and the 1,000 units are split to your market’s distribution curve. Unopened wrong sizes are exchangeable for other sizes of the same run — the clause your retail team will be asked about, in writing, in the standard agreement.
- How long does the battery really last?
- Four to six days of typical use on the ring itself, 60–80 minutes to full, and roughly three additional charges from the 250 mAh case — a week-long trip without the dock is normal. We send our charge-time log and a four-day real-use record with the quotation pack; ask any supplier for the same, not a standby figure.
- Is there a subscription or a cloud account fee?
- No. The companion app and syncing are free on the standard build, and there is no per-unit cloud fee — worth stating in your listing, because retail staff cannot answer this about some rings. From 2,000 units the same platform ships white-label under your brand, with EU-region hosting available.
- Is the R1 a medical device?
- No. Heart rate, SpO2, sleep staging, recovery, stress and skin temperature are wellness trends for generally healthy adults; nothing here diagnoses sleep apnoea, atrial fibrillation or any condition. It is a CE RED radio-and-safety product with an ISO 9001 quality system behind it, not an MDR device, and we supply no artwork that implies otherwise.
